What the site does today§
Analytics are cookieless (Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights): they count visits and measure page speed without identifying you.
When you subscribe to the newsletter we store your email address, the page you subscribed from, and when you asked, confirmed or unsubscribed. The address stays pending until you confirm from the email we send, and only confirmed addresses receive Metanoia. Emails are sent by Resend, which processes addresses on our behalf.
To stop abuse of the signup form we count attempts using one-way hashes of the email and network addresses, never the addresses themselves.
Your color theme, reading mode and saved articles are kept in your own browser and are not sent to us.
